About Us

G E King LLC was started in 1990 in Atglen PA and is owned and operated by Galen King. Galen was born and raised in the area with a father in agri-business, a mother who prior to marriage worked as a drafts person/architect, an uncle who was a carpenter, and grandfather who owned a industrial pattern making business. As you can see, building is in the genes.

Mother and son first designed a nice ranch house, built and sold a land house package, commonly know as speculative building or spec. house, then repeated this successfully four more times. At that point people were asking for Galen to build custom homes, do renovations, additions, and more. Galen also maintains a Pennsylvania state real estate license (Galen.King@foxroach.com) to compliment the construction business knowledge base, current housing law and trends. Fun facts
As a child Galen always wanted to fly airplanes and worked hard to get his pilot license in 1996. After progressing through private pilot, instrument, commercial, multi-engine and even receiving business jet training. This skill set aggregated into a one year tour as a volunteer mission bush pilot flying in Guatemala central America. Even building "houses" in the bush. Also a three year stint as the third member of a Gulfstream business jet airmen crew flying VIP's from Coatesville PA to all parts of the United States, Caribbean and Mexico. There has also been trips volunteering to third world countries, again building. Of course making time to scuba dive whenever possible. All the while renovating and building houses.
